Food Products/Animal Feed Safety, Veterinary and Plant Protection Code aims to protect human life and health, consumer interests, animal health and welfare, and plant health, as well as to define the unified principles of state regulation and to form an effective system of state control in the fields of food/feed safety, veterinary and plant protection. This Code applies to the production, processing and distribution of food/feed, animals, plants, products of animal and plant origin in the territory of Georgia, to primary production, animal health and welfare, plant health, veterinary drugs, pesticides and agrochemicals, as well as to environmental protection based on the purpose of this Code.
